Our History

Did you know the Denver branch has a state song? Did you know we have a national song?  Did you know we had our national biennial and centennial right here in Colorado? The Denver branch of the NLAPW has a rich history.

Before we had an online presence we sent out our newsletter and the directory via USPS.

Our newsletter was called Owl Notes. They were photocopied, hand stapled, and sent out. Each one was very different.

The directories were also called “year books.” They were quarter-page sized, then half sized, then full sized.
