  7. Committee Reports:
    1. Membership: Diane reported that Meet-Up is working but more slowly than expected.
      1. In the past, Linda has prepared news inserts for other organizations.
      2. Sue receives things from SubStack https://substack.com/about. Yaritza shared information re SubStack—When you sign in you can post what you like, such as your writings
      3. Yaritza also shared information about Link Tree—It is a free website https://linktr.ee
    2. Website:
      1. The board asked me [Virginia] about a notice from Bluehost reminding us that we needed to renew SiteLock, which is an add-on privacy and security service. Since we already have basic security I advised against paying more for protection we do not need. I made sure our privacy is protected by looking us up on ICANN and WHOIS. No private information is listed. We are secure.
      2. I removed Karen Gonzales from the member’s page (with her knowledge and consent) since she is no longer a member. I do not delete pages or information of former members. The information is changed from public to private. It is still on the site but cannot be seen. This is done so if anyone chooses to rejoin, their information can be restored.
      3. Everything else is up to date and working properly.
    3. Critique Group: Currently has five members, meets every other Friday.
    4. Tapestries: Two sections were delivered by Sue to Windcrest. They plan on using them in the memory center. Sue will write an article for The Pen Woman.
    5. Historian: Sue needs to contact Denver Public Library to learn what the library wants from our branch and in what form they want it.
    6. Programs:
      1. July—No meeting
      2. August—Kristen Martin, Story Mindmapping
      3. September—Rayya Liebich, Blackout Poetry
  8. Announcements: Linda has a book being published—Mountain Adventures. It includes specific information in Colorado and gives lots of hiking information.
  9. New Business:
    1. Linda contacted Windsor Gardens about their fall craft fair scheduled for November.
    2. We agreed to donate $25 to Poetry-to-Go
  10. Old Business:
    1. The Biennial next spring will be held in Washington D.C. More information can be found on page 3 of the last issue of The Pen Woman.
    2. National needs book reviewers.
  11. The meeting was adjourned at 10:30 a.m.

After the meeting we enjoyed a presentation by Janelle Hardy on Memoir and Healing,

Respectfully submitted,

Kelly Ann Compton
