I. Meeting called to order: 11:22
II. Members in attendance: Donna Clark, Kelly Ann Compton, Carol Ehrlich, Ruthy Wexler, Karen Gonzales, Cathy Wield, Lorraine Walker Williams (FL Branch),; (The following only attended the presentation: Beverly Chico, Nancy Peterson, Jody Glittenberg

V. March Minutes approved
VI. Treasurer Report: No report
VII. Committee Reports:
a. Membership: Welcoming guests to our meetings, Cathy shared that we are seeking new members. We need to reach out to to artists and composers.
b. No Website report
c. Tapestry report: Ruthy will call Joyce Fairchild
VIII. New business:
a. June planning meeting—Will be potluck; Kelly Ann will send out e-mail; will be at Donna’s house; Alex will speak in August “Inspirational Creative Processes”
b. Cathy Wield will work on booking the library; has offered her home as a meeting place. We will discuss meeting places in June. Donna will check with a church in downtown Dinner.
IX. Announcements:
a. Alex was International Latino Book Awards judge for the Spanish language books(Karen was also a judge.
b. Discuss if we will allow some of the possible members 4 meetings instead of 3
c. Ray is working on a creative non fiction piece where two girls were planning a school shooting. Would like guidance on this book. Is interested in provisional membership.
d. Ruthy’s written a great article on HOAs published in . . .

Before the business meeting, Mary Levering presented an interesting slide and informational tour of the many different countries she has visited.
