Meeting Notes
April 2, 2016
I. Members in attendance were: Andrea Antico, Diane Chambers, Beverly Chico, Donna Clark, Kelly Ann Compton, Ruthy Wexler, A. Marie Kriss, Nancy Peterson, Juanita Pope, Atlanta Sheridan, Virginia Small, Kay Taylor, and Kathleen Visovatti.
II. Guests in attendance included: Kimberly Hamelin, Teri Mecham, Helen White, Alejandro Lucero, Shelly Harding, Vicki Oehring, Ahja Fox, Jennifer Steuck, Joni Hobbs, and Bobbie Hobbs.
III. Today was our annual Guest Critique Session. No business meeting was held, instead, we had seven guest presenters who shared something they had written which we Denver Branch members then critiqued offering thoughts on the strengths and possible improvements for each piece. The pieces varied from fiction, to poetry, memoir, and creative non fiction. The writings were all well-written and fun to critique. The included boxed luncheon allowed the guest presenters and Denver Branch members to converse and socialize a bit. It was a very successful and enjoyable time.
