			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Member <a href="http://www.denverpenwomen.org/members/sue-luxa/">Sue Luxa</a> will be speaking at High Plains Elementary, Cherry Creek District on Monday, March 19th on <em><strong>Colorado History From a Child&#8217;s Perspective</strong>.  She</em> will also be speaking at Park Hill Elementary, Denver School District on Friday, March 23rd on the same subject.  Sue will come dressed as an old school marm (teacher) and interact with the students about Colorado Territory&#8217;s beginnings as a gold-rush area, what an old school-day might have looked like, read a chapter from one of her books and display various antiques so that the children have a chance to guess what the object is and what it was used for.  She will allow time for questions from the students.  Sue says she  prefers small groups so that she can really get a feel for the children.</p>

<p>THIN ICE returns to the LAKEWOOD GRILL on Colfax, Friday, February 24, 8:45 p.m. to 1 a.m. &#8211; for a special night with great new songs and A Book Release Party. Lead singer Nick has just published <em>Another Nightmare Gig from Hell </em>- a compilation on stories from musicians across the country about funny, quirky, spooky recollections of gigs gone wrong. Books will be on sale and the author will be happy to sign copies. The book is also available on Amazon and at www.nightmaregig.com</p>
